Southern California

Natalie and her daddy accompanied her mommy down to LA for a conference last week. She got to hang out at the beach, and learned a new concept - snacks! On the flight down, she got to eat pretzels in a little bag and little crackers in a bag. From that point on, she wanted 'snacks!' for every meal and really refused to eat anything that didn't come out of a small bag. It was fun for her parents!

But before we get to the trip, here's Natalie at the Academy of Sciences looking at stingrays. The highlight of the scene is, of course, her outfit.

Now onto SoCal. While Ginny was at her conference, we bussed on over to Venice to hang out at the beach.

She's trying to convince her daddy that she's a lifeguard.

She's really into pushing her stroller right now. It can be a little slow going.

We all also got to go visit her friend Alicia in Manhattan Beach. They ran around together and had lots of fun.

After much begging, they got to watch 'Finding Nemo' - yeah!

For the weekend, we loaded up and drove down to San Diego for a little zoo visit. Someone really liked watching monkeys.

She loved sitting on several large cat sculptures. She remembered this bit of fun and when we got home, she tried to sit on her kitty. That didn't go so well.

Elephants take baths and get their feet cleaned. Cool!
