Timing the walk

Mixed in with meeting some birth doulas (also known as slave women) and shopping for more baby room stuff, I had the chance this weekend to time the walk from the Hospital to our place. Door-to-door, the walk took just 28 minutes, and that was at a moderate pace and getting stuck at a few traffic lights. With a little jaywalking and some power-walking, I bet I could get that time down to 25 minutes.

I also timed a few other important stops along the way. From the hospital it's:
  • 6 minutes to a sushi place,

  • 8 minutes to a brewpub,

  • 29 minutes to my kegerator.

Now we're fully prepared.

  1. so I'm assuming that on your way home from the hospital you will stop at both the sushi place and the brewpub so that ginny can get her fill of things she's not allowed to have during pregnancy.
