Natalie spoke her first words last night! Of course, she had absolutely no idea what she was saying and was just stringing together random sounds -- but it happened, nonetheless. No, she didn't say "mama" or "dada" but "oink, oink, oink." Mama and Dada had a very good laugh.

ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you aren't over-interpreting and forcing "oink, oink, oink" to sound like "dada." I wonder what her first meaningful word will be? Mine was "dog." Or was it "book"? Or maybe the name of our dog, "Beau"? Oh well...
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing her first meaningful word will be "kitty" or "tuba" or something close to Toubab. She is happiest when Toubab is in the room.
