Last weekend, the family hopped into one of them shiny flying bus thingies, and after not too long stepped out into the crisp warm air of central Texas.
First stop was to spend the night with Natalie's cousins in Dripping Springs. You have to keep an eye on those cousins - before you know it you can get covered in stickers!
Here's a motley crew of blackberry pickers. It was only 96 F in the sun, and if you look closely you'll see that someone broke the rules and ate a few berries - but forgot to destroy the evidence!
Later in the weekend it was pool time. Natalie decided to avoid the water and work on her tan and ball throwing skills.
Natalie and her Boppy both had sour attitudes and the expressions to match!
All the cousins got together and had some kind of crazy dance party. Natalie just sat and watched in awe of the awesome music, singing, and dancing.
The waves were too high and the current just a little too strong for Navigator Natalie to get out on the lake. She inspected all of the equipment and will consider embarking on her first kayak adventure in a few years.
Everyone's wearing their 'eyes' at the lake.
The first ever popsicle was a much enjoyed treat. Most of it was dropped onto the deck, but a good portion made it into her mouth...and hands...and clothes.
