Paris - sleepy meals

The first full day in Paris saw us getting out on the town. We successfully navigated the Metro and didn't lose either of the girls, though Natalie complained a bit about all of the stairs in Paris.

We took a boat cruise on the Seine which departed from the Ile de la Cite and took us down to the Eiffel Tower and back. It was a relaxing way to see some of the key sites. Clara waved most of the way and did some weird pushup/droolbomb activity on the seats in front of us. Natalie payed attention for the first 20 minutes and then requested treats for the rest of the time.  All in all a fairly typical event.

After the cruise we walked down to Notre Dame and found some food.  Natalie slept through the lunch which then led to the best waiter interaction we have ever had.  We made the mistake of asking to take Natalie's hot dog to go. He first argued with us about how we shouldn't take it because it would not taste good warmed up. Then he finally brought us a bag to take it. He dropped the bag on the table and sneered like it was the most insulting thing he had ever done. It was awesome.

After an uneventful return to Sarah and Marc's place we chilled for the evening and then had dinner.  That's when we had another sleeper. Clara feel asleep while eating - in fact still clutching food. It was cute and something that neither child has ever done.  Lots of fun stuff on this trip.
